The longer version

Somewhere around last year I was walking peacefully on the street when I got this shooting pain in my ear. I had no idea what it was. A few seconds later it happened again, and my reflex pulled the plugs out of my ear automatically. I new it was the headphones. They had given me electrical shot.

That was it. I refuse to walk around in self torture, so I gave them to my dad. One of the plugs were a little off sometimes too after i once pushed it back into my ear and a click sound came. I must have busted the speaker or something, for a while after that, that one ear piece wouldn’t play.

I figured the electric shock had something to do with that. That was until me and my friend joked around about a lot of things until one of us made a iPod electrocution joke. It had happened to her too, and we both laughed hysterically.

After that I googled it, and this is what I found. Apparently is a well known phenomenon. Always fun to live in a cold “extremely dry” place. Also “The shock is apparently similar to dragging your feet across a carpet and receiving a static shock by touching a door knob.” Well getting that shock in your ear every 20. second isn’t my idea of a peaceful experience, definitely not Wagner approved.

Now I find myself walking down the street swearing uncontrollably like I have tourettes, in this Marv from home alone way every time my iPod decides to send me a little pre-Christmas gift.

My iPod continues its attempts to electrocute me

—And that’s why you shouldn’t wear an iPod in the winter.

I got the sad news chronologically wrong. Each post hinting more and more to the passing of Spacewolf. I still can’t quite grasp my mind around it. It all happened so suddenly and unexpected. From where I stood there was no indications of a flashing red light.

Chris was a great musician, and the person I sort of considered the glue of the Cardinals. The news of his passing affected me more than I would ever thought a person I didn’t actually know could do, therefor my condolences goes out to you all. Both his loved ones; his friends and family. But also everyone who’s ever felt the presence of him through the music. From here on, Chris will live on in our hearts, thoughts and music.

This is a rather new take on it though.
